Stevie Ray vs Marc Diakiese set for UFC London

Stevie Ray is returning to the octagon at UFC London on March 21, 2020 in London, England, United Kingdom. He is expected to clash with Marc Diakiese, the UFC announced the pairing on social media.

Steven Ray will look to build on a two-fight winning streak. In his last fight the 29-year-old Scottish rebounded from a 1-round KO loss to Leonardo Santos in June 2019 by defeating Michael Johnson (United States) via majority decision at UFC Fight Night 162 – Maia vs. Askren on October 26, 2019. The Kirkcaldy, Fife native holds an overall record of 23-9-0 (Wins-Losses-Draws) in his professional career, including a 7-4-0 mark in the UFC.

The 26-year-old Marc Diakiese, meanwhile, is 14-3-0 as a pro (5-3-0 UFC). He is coming off a unanimous decision wins over Lando Vannata at UFC Fight Night 160 – Hermansson vs. Cannonier in September 2019 and Joseph Duffy in March at UFC Fight Night 147 – Till vs. Masvidal. At the moment the Congolese-British fighter is riding a 2-fight winning streak.

As for the event, UFC London is set to take place on March 21, 2020 in London, England, United Kingdom. It will be headlined by a welterweight showdown between former champion Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards.
